This theme contains historical data on payroll employment by sector (public/private), job permanency (permanent/temporary) and type of work (full-time/part-time) as well as on self-employment in Québec, Ontario and Canada. Results are presented by sex, age group and level of studies (education). This section also provides historical data on standard and non-standard employment and on the rate of non-standard employment in Québec, Ontario and Canada. These are presented by sex as well as by age group, type of work, level of studies, duration of employment, union presence and industry.
