The Ministère du Travail collects and analyses data on work stoppages in Québec. This section contains a series of tables that provide information on the three major measures related to work stoppages, namely the number of disputes, the number of workers involved and the number of person-days lost. Data are broken down by duration of dispute, type of dispute (strike, lock-out), administrative region, industry, private or public sector and union status.
