This measure includes the child assistance payment and the supplement for handicapped children. It is intended for all Québec families with children under age 18. Child assistance varies according to family income, family situation and number of children. The supplement is a uniform amount paid to parents for any child who has been deemed to be handicapped and eligible for child assistance payments.
