Healthy eating and lifestyle habits refer to behaviours that contribute to the health of children and youth. The statistics presented in this section deal with breastfeeding, weight status, body image and the actions taken by youth to manage their weight. This section also contains data on various lifestyle habits that promote better health, namely recreational and transportation-related physical activity, sleep patterns, oral health, and the eating habits of children and youth.
